What is Sermorelin?
Sermorelin, a synthetic form of the growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), acts as a growth hormone stimulant. It triggers the natural production of human growth hormone (HGH) in the pituitary gland and is used clinically to diagnose and treat growth hormone deficiency in children.
Developed in the US during the early 1980s, Sermorelin assisted researchers in identifying potential deficiencies in growth hormone within the pituitary gland.
- Studies have suggested the following potential impacts of Sermorelin:
- Possibly heightens growth rate in children with GH deficiency
- Potentially raises GH and IGF-1 levels in males with depleted IGF-1 levels
- May enhance lean body mass, insulin sensitivity, overall wellness, and sexual drive in males Possibly increases testosterone secretion in rats with GH deficiency
